Homemade Munchkin Recipe

Munchkins are one of  the easiest and fun deserts to do at home, when I have some free time I also do it myself with my boyfie and brother. Preparation time could be used to mingle and bond with your family and friends while having fun molding these cute little chocolate balls. One of the pros of this recipes is that ingredients  are pretty affordable, and is pretty lucrative when you sell it to your friends.

Ingredients:
Finely Crushed Chocolate Crackers (Ace/Graham)
Condensed Milk
Desiccated Coconut

Filling (Optional):
Marshmallow

1. Place the crushed chocolate crackers in a large bowl and gradually add the condensed milk while mixing until the desired taste and elasticity is acquired. Don't drown the crushed chocolate biscuits with condensed milk or else shaping them into tiny little balls would be such a pain. If chocolate crackers isn't enough for your sweet tooth, you can use Oreo or chocolate Cream-O instead, it could take the sweetness to a whole new level, be warned. To those who are sensitive to sweets (like me), then my work-around would be to add all-purpose cream to the condensed milk instead of the pure condensed milk instead.

2. After mixing, you can now shape them into little balls. Place a teaspoonful of the chocolate cracker mixture into your palm and flatten it. Place a marshmallow on the center of the mixture and enclose it with the mixture and roll it within your palms to a round shape. Alternative fillings aside from marshmallow could be M&Ms, tiny chocolate, and for a healthier option - fruits. I'm pretty sensitive with sweets so I use mango flavored marshmallows since it's not all sweet, there's a mixture of being sour too while having the impression of eating the fruit.

3. Coat the shaped chocolate balls into the desiccated coconut. Alternatives for the coconut could be powdered sugar, candy sprinkles or crushed nuts.

4. Chill for about an hour and serve! You can also send it as a gift, or sell it for extra income.
